The coast and the landscape is important, but it is the feeling, emotion and experience that forms in my memory which is so important. I hope that the painting is more than just a representation of a place.
Luke Knight
Born in 1980, Luke Knight is a new addition to the gallery. After obtaining a degree in fine Art at the University of Wales in Cardiff, he studied at L’Ecole de Beaux Art in Nantes, followed by the Hans Brinker Trophy Prize exhibition in Amsterdam where his work was shortlisted in 2002. He has exhibited consistently ever since, most notably RWA open exhibition and St. Ives Society of Artists both in 2018 and the Royal Society of Marine Arts in the Mall Galleries in 2020. He exhibits widely in Cornwall.
