Moving to Putney provided a whole new stretch of the Thames to inspire me and the shapes a river can offer.  I usually make many drafts of the print before I arrive at a basic composition I am happy with, often selecting an image based on a viewpoint which I visit or pass many times, seeing it in different light, weather and moods.  I explore variations in colour and composition which can be montaged in various ways, adding people, textures and things.
