My work is inspired by the natural world, especially birds, insects and flowers.

Exhibiting with the gallery since 2006, Clare was born in 1966 in Riyadh, Saudia Arabia and obtained a degree (first) at Norwich School of Art between 1986-89, followed by an MA at the Royal College of art for illustration between 1989-91. While there she won the Painters and Stainers award in 1990, followed by National Magazine Company Award & the John Minton Award in 1991.  In 1993 she won a scholarship to Italy and the Sanderson Trust Travel Award to India in 1996. In 1997 she won 1st prize for an Open Exhibition at the School House Gallery. Her paintings have been regularly chosen to be illustrated for Art Angels greetings cards & wrapping.
