Placing one colour against another, I hope to produce the feeling needed to recreate the intensity of a visual experience.

Ursula has exhibited with the gallery since 2003 and has had four solo shows to date:

Born in 1947, she studied art at Winchester, Wimbledon and West Surrey Colleges of Art. In 1993, she was a prizewinner of the R.K. Burt Etching prize and in the same year exhibited at the Barbican Centre London, followed by a solo show in Southampton City Art Gallery in 1994. In 1996 she was elected to Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers. She has since exhibited in numerous exhibitions including ‘Elemental Insight’ at the Met Office ( & touring), ‘Circles and Tangents’ Salisbury Museum in 2012 ( & touring). Her work is in many collections including Ashmolean Museum, the Royal Hospitals NHS Trust, Bournemouth University Loan Collection, Kirklees Museums & The House of Lords.
