I investigate the architecture of the Cornish landscape - its raw elements, its iconic power and beauty. Its bones, shapes, forms and lines all make their way into my work.

Liz has been exhibiting with the gallery since 2001.  She has had a joint show with Catherine Armitage in 2005 and six solo shows to date.

Liz was born in 1966 and after completing a foundations course at Mid Cheshire College of Art between 1984-5, she obtained a degree in fine art at Manchester Polytechnic followed by a post graduate diploma in Painting at the Royal Academy Schools between 1988-91. Between 1997-8 she studied at the Accademia di Belle Arti, Perugia, Italy.  She has exhibited extensively since 1989 and received the Daler-Rowney Award in the 1990 Royal Academy Summer Exhibition and the Creswick prize for Landscape painting in oils and Landseer Scholarship Prize for Compositional Studies in Oils.  Her work is included in extensive public and private collections worldwide including TSB, Paintings in Hospitals & Bank of China.
