Catherine Forshall

Through aqueous washes, I try to retain fluidity & motion to convey the way marine life continually shifts with the ebbing & rising tides.

Catherine has been exhibiting with the gallery since 2002 including a joint show with Julian Meredith in 2004 and four solo shows to date:

She was born in 1958 and grew up on the west coast of Scotland,  She studied painting and drawing in Florence from 1976-78. From 1985-2003  she lived in France, followed by two years in Spain before settling back in Devon in 2005 and she is an avid supporter of the Marine Conservation Society. She has exhibited widely in France, London and the provinces and her paintings are held in private collections in the UK, Europe, Australia and North America.
